In Order Mail Organizer Chalkboards, Furniture, Art My name is Chris Fairchild and I started In Order, a home and personal organizing company, in January 2006.

As I embarked on many organizing projects, I helped people with paper and clutter, and assembled and installed many organizing systems for closet, garage and office. I started building custom shelves and cabinets for clients with unusual spaces and as my skills improved, I started imagining possible organizing products that I could build. My clients biggest frustrations have been mail and miscella

neous paperwork, cluttering up their home. My mail organizer chalkboards are built with the intention of housing all important mail in one location (and keys too!). I aim to make products that are solid, sturdy, simple, attractive, and something helpful that you can use to live your life. Some of the boards are plain, straight-forward, evenly-spaced, uniform and what you'd expect from an organized automaton. But even these boards have slight imperfections because I make them by hand and with my tools, with my still-evolving carpentry skills. Other chalkboards are a bit quirky, questionable, mismatched and organic, using or repurposing what I have on hand. This represents a more artistic approach that knows there are no mistakes, if you love it. I have started making furniture and art, which you may see posted as well.
