🎓 Inspiring the Next Generation of Preble County Professionals! 🎓

The Preble County Chamber of Commerce was excited to be a presenter at Preble County ESC 8th Grade Career Day yesterday, where students from across Preble County had the opportunity to explore careers based on their interests and participate in hands-on learning experiences with local community partners!

Our session focused on Marketing, Sales & Service, and we were thrilled to have a special guest join us —Alfredo Diamond/Better Homes and Gardens FRG. Alfredo shared his personal experience working as a real estate agent and gave students a firsthand look at how marketing and sales play an important role in the real estate industry.

🏡 Then it was time for the students to put their skills to work!

Students were given photos and details about a local home for sale and challenged to create their own marketing pitch. Their goal? To take the information they were given and use creative wording to convince a potential buyer that this was the perfect home for them!

We were impressed by how quick-witted, creative, and enthusiastic these students were. We definitely have some talented future marketers and sales professionals right here in Preble County! 🙌

A huge thank you to Alfredo Diamond for taking the time to share his experience and help make our session such a great experience for the students!

Thank you to Preble County ESC Career Connections for organizing this wonderful opportunity and bringing together students, schools, businesses, and community partners to help students explore the many career opportunities available to them.

The Preble County Chamber of Commerce office will be closed Friday August 28th for our Annual Golf Classic. We will also be closed, Monday August 31, 2026 through Wednesday, September 2, 2026, as our team will be attending a conference.
