Our Story

MatchKey Consulting is a training and professional development organization, formed in June, 2017. We also provide a "one-stop shop" training experience to businesses and professionals by finding the best facilitator or coach for a program or need that MatchKey does not offer directly. With Jennifer's network, spanning over 30 years, she can usually connect companies or individuals with the best resource to meet training and coaching needs. MatchKey stands behind all of their affiliated partners and will be up-front about connections that cannot be made. All of MatchKey programs are designed and facilitated internally and are available on various platforms including in-person facilitation, virtual LIVE delivery, recorded webinars and/or micro-learning segments. During Jennifer's 27-year career in Corporate America, she was a commercial banker, sales director, training program manager, curriculum designer and internal referral program developer. She was the product of a solid training program when her career started which built the foundation for a long and successful sales career. Without a basic level of skills, it is hard to feel confident and passionate about building business relationships which lead to robust pipelines and an improved conversion rate. Since some companies don't offer these programs internally, they come to MatchKey for help. One of MatchKey's key markets are professional millennials that are not confident with business development and selling. This market is expanding due to Covid-19 since professionals of all ages are finding themselves in a sales role without having any sales training. Another key market for MatchKey are women of all ages. Jennifer was a female executive in Corporate America and mentored multiple women throughout her career. After providing the same advice over and over, she designed a program called "Empowering Women in the Marketplace". One of MatchKey's missions is to develop and deliver women empowerment programming to help women better identify their value proposition and individual tendencies that may get in their way of success. People do business with people and companies they like and trust. Building that trust takes time and intentionality. Those are skills that MatchKey teaches their clients. Some call these "soft skills" and others call it "sales training". MatchKey's ultimate goal is to provide our clients and/or their teams with workshops and programs that build their confidence and provide some direction and intentionality around activities and behavior.
