A look inside our shop as this custom electric dual-mast surround platform moves through the programming and controls stage.

Designed for installation directly within a large truck cab conveyor line, the system provides workers with safer, more efficient access around multiple cab sizes during assembly and production.

The process works by raising the platform to its maximum height, allowing the truck cab to move into position underneath. The lift then lowers to the required working height, and a sliding platform section closes the remaining gap to surround the cab and provide access from all sides.

Key specifications include:

• 480V, three-phase power
• 15.8 ft x 17.3 ft platform
• 10 ft raised platform height
• Sliding platform section to accommodate varying cab lengths
• Designed for in-line conveyor integration

The system is still being programmed and going through final inspection, but this stage shows the engineering, programming, and testing that goes into delivering a custom access solution built around the customer’s production process.

We are looking for someone who:

Industrial painting experience is preferred, but candidates with related painting or coating experience are also encouraged to apply.

Today, we celebrate the retirement of Ardy after 32 years with the Plank Family of Companies and many years as an important member of the LPI Lift Systems team.

If you've called LPI over the years, there's a good chance you've spoken with Ardy. She has been a friendly voice on the other end of the phone, a trusted resource for customers, and a steady presence for our team. Her willingness to help, attention to detail, and genuine care for others have left a lasting impression on countless customers and coworkers alike.

While many people know LPI through our products, people like Ardy are the reason customers continue to trust us year after year. Her dedication, professionalism, and commitment to serving others have helped define the level of service our customers have come to expect from LPI.
