HAPPY INTERNATIONAL CHEFS DAY!!!🧑‍🍳👩‍🍳🍽️ Today, Oct. 20, we celebrate our Blugold Dining Chefs who help run this place! From V-Ball’s fancy food & their tortes, to everyday meals and desserts in Riverview or Marketplace, this is the Culinary Management team who does it all🫶

🧑‍🍳Chef Shawn- Our Lower Campus & Catering Chef!
🧑‍🍳Pastry Chef- Eric is in charge of ALL the desserts/pastries on upper & lower campus, as well as for our Catering!

Let’s talk 💚♻️compost♻️💚!!! If you’ve been on campus for a couple of years, you’ve prob seen the changes we’ve made over the past year by switching to compostable plates, to-go boxes, and more! Blu Berrymore truly supports the mission of keeping things green around here at UWEC, which is why we’ve taken the necessary steps to switch things around🫶

This semester, you’ve also prob spotted the designated compost bins in Davies! They specifically list the correct spots to dispose of items such as food waste, & napkins/paper towels! & if you weren’t aware, no worries! They’re listed in this post above👆 ⬆️

If you’re ever in doubt if something is compostable or not, just toss it in the trash. That way you can help us avoid contamination happening in our compost specific bins 🚮💚🗑️♻️

ATTENTION BLUGOLDS❕We want to hear your voices 🗣️ Join the Student Dining Committee that’s ran completely by students Student Dining Committee 💙 There’s FREE food catered by us at every single meeting😋 Any Blugold can come!! Bring a friend & let us know your feedback, as well as any questions/concerns you may have!

Some of the things that we’ve made happen from past Student Dining meetings:
▫️Opening Simple Servings 7 days a week
▫️Getting a hot food vending machine in HASS
▫️Getting a dining location on lower campus that stays open till later (Mini Mart)

& so much more!! So come & tell us what you think, while you enjoy some yummy FREE food & drinks🤪

❕ALL THE MEETING DATES ARE LISTED ON THE POST ABOVE ⬆️ They all take place on Wednesdays at 12 pm in Ho-Chunk (Davies 320E) ❕

Homecoming prep…..gone wrong🫣 just kidding, a little rain never stopped this berry🤪🌧️🫐 We still can’t get over how amazing this weekend was!!! 💛🪩✨

Blu Berrymore & their assistants had the best time setting up, decorating, & handing out all the goodies to our Blugolds & the Eau Claire community🥹🥹 Same time next year? 💛
