At Cornerstone, we are proud to highlight team members who bring creativity, dedication, and a strong problem-solving mindset to their work every day. This month we are spotlighting Antjuan Alexander.
One of Antjuan’s favorite parts of his job is the opportunity to come up with solutions, solve problems, and help develop effective policies and procedures. He takes pride in ensuring customers are happy and that their needs are consistently met, approaching each challenge with a focus on practical solutions and strong service.
For Antjuan, leadership means setting the example and being willing to lead from the front. He believes a true leader is someone who is not afraid to step in, work alongside the team, and get their hands dirty when needed. Leadership, to him, is about action as much as direction.
When it comes to motivation, music plays a major role in Antjuan’s daily routine. The right soundtrack helps him stay focused, think clearly, and move through the day with flow and energy. Outside of work, he stays motivated by staying organized and reminding himself that everyone has a role to play—so he gets up each day ready to do his part.
One of Antjuan’s key strengths is problem-solving with an open mind. He values the ability to think outside the box and consider different perspectives, even in situations where he may not fully agree. He also prioritizes maintaining a positive attitude, believing it helps him navigate challenges more effectively.
Outside of work, Antjuan enjoys creative outlets such as karaoke, where he proudly considers himself a “karaoke junky,” as well as sketching pictures and lyrics. He also enjoys cooking and describes himself, as his grandmother once said, as a “jack of all trades” when it comes to the arts, including singing, dancing, and drawing.
Reflecting on his experience at Cornerstone, Antjuan shared that it is rare to find a workplace where you feel truly valued. Having worked at larger organizations in the past, he emphasized that Cornerstone stands out because ideas and contributions are genuinely appreciated, and he truly feels like part of the team.
