If you’re running Hodag licking sticks or licking branch systems every so often I recommend going in and refreshing the branch. I do this especially when the deer have broke it down already.

Solar fencing can be a great option to protect your soybeans or corn plots, but don’t overlook using it for other food plot types so you can get your yield up. In the case of this property, deer were rarely letting the plots get tall enough to sustain them for into the winter months.

Super happy how this turned out. In future I could see dialing back the screen so that deer could move a little more freely through this. Not surprised also that the beans didn’t do the best given shade issues. Definitely a mix I’ll be tweaking in future years.
