It DOES make a difference!

Something I’ve been thinking about lately…

Local teams, clubs, schools, and organizations have a lot of choices when it comes to where they order shirts, hats, and other apparel.

One thing I hope people think about is where that money goes after the order is done.

We try really hard at MK Apparel to support the same community that supports us. We sponsor teams, events, fundraisers, clubs, and other local causes because we feel like that’s part of being a local business. This year alone, we’ve put more than $10,000 back into those same local teams, clubs, events, fundraisers, and organizations. We’re proud of that, because supporting the community that supports us matters.

We’re definitely not able to say yes to everything, but when we can help, we try to.

So when you’re deciding where to spend your team or organization’s money, I hope supporting businesses that also give back to the community is part of that decision. It really does make a difference.

We are REALLY liking this new printer and the capabilities it has added to C & M Printing! Check out this project for Tired Iron C.C.. The print quality, vibrant color, and precision cutting are incredible, but what has us most excited is how much this machine has expanded what we can offer our customers. We’ve only scratched the surface of what it can do, and we’re having a lot of fun putting it to work. Bigger capabilities, more possibilities, & a whole lot more coming out of C & M Printing!

The team here at C & M really came together on this one! We had a tight deadline to hit, but everyone stepped up, rang the bell, and delivered an epic finished product. It took some extra hustle to get it done, but it was well worth it. Proud of our team, proud of the finished product, and proud to deliver for a great cause!

We received word today that JTS, formerly known as AM Solutions, will be closing its doors at its Edgerton location. It is always difficult to see a business with such a long history in our community close its doors. For many years, we worked closely with AM Solutions and its original ownership, doing a great deal of business together and supporting one another locally. After the company was acquired by private equity and eventually became part of JTS, that relationship changed, but the history AM Solutions had here in Edgerton remains.

With this news, we simply want the Edgerton community and surrounding businesses to know that the services they relied on locally are not going away. C & M Printing has the equipment, experience, and capabilities to handle the printing and mailing services that JTS/AM Solutions provided. We believe strongly that when work can remain local, it should. Our goal is to make sure businesses and organizations that previously relied on AM Solutions know they still have a local option right here in Edgerton, keeping that work, those relationships, and those dollars within our community.

This is our new logo, so if you start seeing it around town, you’ll know who it belongs to! Same local C & M Printing, just with a fresh new look.

We said we were having way too much fun with this new printer, we may have officially crossed the line. You might notice a new employee hanging out in our front window. He doesn’t do much, refuses to answer the phone, and hasn’t produced a damn thing all week, but The Fonz gives the new printer two thumbs up.

We feel honored to be part of this project with the VFW Post 2708, designing and printing these signs. We’ll also be proudly hanging one ourselves and encouraging everyone to support this great cause.

Beginning in September and running through October, simply fuel up at pumps 9 & 10 at Carl’s Shell in Newville and help make a difference for our local veterans.
