This year my only goal was to simply read more. Have read 21 books last year and I had hoped to reach the same number this year. In fact, I was able to pass it. I’m closing out the year having read 34 books. It’s the most books I’ve read in a long time. They range from romance to nonfiction and a little in between and I loved them all. Reading is the way that I find time for myself and reconnect to me. Here’s to more books in 2024.

This is 37. I wouldn’t trade life in my 30s for anything else. I love the woman that I am and the woman that I am becoming so much. I’m thankful and blessed to have the life that I have. Cheers to another year ahead 🥂. ♎️

Like any true creative I’m always thinking about what’s next. I haven’t put out a new podcast episode since I took a pause on the strategy piece of my business. But I love the craft or creating podcasts and learning from podcasts. I’m thinking another one may be in my future soon…

20 years ago this guy asked me to be his girlfriend…and even when he’s away he still makes up for it by remembering what today is. It may not be our wedding anniversary but it’s certainly a day that changed everything about our lives.

Y’all gonna get these puppy pics! We’ve had Mata for 2 weeks now and she’s officially 4 months old today. And I just love her so much. Not only does she bring me so much joy individually, but having her has also given us way more family bonding time. These are the moments that make life special.

Say hello to the newest member of our family! Meet Mata. I never thought I’d have a dog. I’ve had since I was in middle school and compared to dogs they are just so much easier. But the hubs wanted a dog that he could run with so now we have Mata. She’s the sweetest puppy and perfect for our family and we already love her so much!

It’s time to press the pause button ⏸️

I’ve been feeling this way for a while in my business and I can honestly say it’s fine. The post I saw yesterday from finally pushed me to make it “Instagram official”. I’ll be focusing my efforts on growing which I’m super excited about (go follow me over there!).

I’ll still be posting here but it’ll most likely look a lot different. Whatever this next chapter holds, I’m excited and ready for it.

This little boy right here fills my heart up in ways I never thought possible. Being his mom is truly the best role I get to have in this life. Motherhood is not easy but he fills it with so much joy.

When I first started in business, I literally had no idea what I was doing. I didn't have goals; I just wanted to make money. I didn't have a target audience or niche, I just wanted to sell to anyone who was willing to buy. I followed every trend and copied everything I saw others who looked more successful than me doing. And none of it worked. It wasn't until I really sat down, gained claritythought about who I wanted to serve and how I wanted to serve them, and started creating a roadmap for my business that I saw any success.

Bottom line? I became a business strategist because I want you to skip the struggles I went through and start you business with the clarity and foundation you need to see it be successful.

Can I be real with y’all for a sec…Me and my business are going through it right now. I’m finding myself in a season where I’m over almost everything that has to do with business. The hustle of getting clients, creating content, and keeping up with the latest trends has been really weighing on me. And the truth is I’m tired. I’ve had my business for 13 years and have weathered so many changes with it. I know that this season will pass and I’ll fall back in love with it again but right now…
