When Materials Speak - A Beautiful and Immersive Hotel Interior

When Square Hotel in Copenhagen set out to renew their suites and foyer, the ambition was clear: guests should experience the hotel - not just see it. Every surface, texture, and detail was carefully chosen to convey calm, quality, and fine craftsmanship. They didn’t want an interior that merely looked exclusive - they wanted one that felt immersive and inviting.

In collaboration with Interiør Gruppen, Square Hotel curated a selection of exquisite furniture from Søren Lund. In the foyer, guests are welcomed by the elegant SL 284 sofa, setting the tone for the hotel’s refined design. Meanwhile, the suites feature the versatile SL 616 lounge sofa, which effortlessly transforms into an extra bed, combining comfort with functionality.

The Result
The hotel now presents itself beautifully, with rooms that speak to the senses. The texture of the fabrics and the softness of the leather tell a story of timeless quality. The furniture is not merely functional - they are part of the hotel’s soul, shaped through genuine craftsmanship and a strong collaboration.
