Hey this maybe a long post, so I am putting numbered points ahead, so that you can speed read if desired. The point of this post is regarding my business and to help create a level of understanding with my clientele and anyone interested in my services.
1. Thank you!
First off, I want to say thank you to all who have trusted me to take care of your horses feet. I appreciate your faithfulness in using my services and allowing me to be full-time in this awesome career. Thank you so much for your support!
2. Apologies
With that said, I know I still need to continuously strive to be a better farrier and service provider. I have noticed that there has been a difficulty with me responding to calls and messages that may have caused some inconveniences for my clients. I would just like to formally apologize for this and let you know that I am trying very hard to answer your questions and give you timely answers.
The main reason for this inconvenience is that I have been experiencing a high volume of text and calls, which does make it harder for me to respond and complete my daily work.
3. Weekends and Expectations
Moving forward, my goal is to try to live up to some expectations for me and have better understanding from my clients. I want to be clear that as the summer progresses and show season continues, it will still be difficult for me to answer and perform my farrier duties simultaneously. To protect myself from "burning out" and also give you guys better understanding, these will be some of my goals moving forward.
On Saturdays and Sundays most of you know I try to not do any work on those days. This means that if you call or text on those days I may not answer or respond right away. If it is urgent please call, and leave a message if I don't answer, but do not text.
As far as a proper response time for scheduling appointments, please allow 48-72 hours during the week.
4. Prices increase
As of July 16th, I will be increasing my prices on my shoe jobs. Prices will be discussed before future appointments. Thank you for your time reading my post!
