Discover Kaizen, Training, Talent and Technology
Kaizen hosted the “Discover Kaizen” event last October, bringing together employers, nonprofit organizations, and community development partners to explore collaborative strategies.
The purpose of the event was to introduce our organization to our guests, gain a deeper understanding of employer needs, and collaborate with community leaders to develop solutions. Our primary focus was to support unemployed individuals in gaining the skills necessary to meet current workforce demands and help bridge the existing skills gap.
We look forward to organizing similar events again this year and continuing to build meaningful partnerships within the community.

The Kaizen team had the pleasure of attending the Future Pathways: Education, Training & Funding event hosted by United Way of Greater Union County on February 25th. We were truly impressed by the impactful initiatives that UCNJ Union College of Union County, NJ, is leading to help underserved youth better understand financial aid and how it can open doors to higher education, even without family financial support.

It was inspiring to see UCNJ actively connecting students with state and community colleges to expand their educational opportunities. Kaizen would be honored to participate in future UCNJ events and support underserved youth in exploring grant-funded training programs in IT and Healthcare offered at our institution.

Newark Youth Career Pathway Workshop
The Kaizen team was proud to present the career opportunities available through Kaizen Technologies at the Senior Pathways Post-Secondary College & Career Options Workshop held at West Caldwell Tech on Thursday, February 19th.
The students were highly engaged and enthusiastic about learning more regarding the training programs we offer in the IT, Healthcare, and Management sectors.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Ms. Kimberly Brown, Director of Operations at Newark Youth Career Pathways, as well as the representatives from West Caldwell Tech Academy, for inviting us and assisting with the setup of the computer equipment prior to the presentation.
We look forward to continuing our collaboration and supporting high school seniors as they make informed and meaningful career choices.

Gateway Chamber of Commerce Workforce Committee Meeting
The Kaizen team attended the Gateway Chamber of Commerce Workforce Committee’s monthly meeting on January 23rd at the Boys & Girls Club of Union County. The primary focus of the meeting was to brainstorm ideas for organizing a Career Fair for high school and college students, planned for either the Fall of this year or Spring of next year.

The meeting brought together representatives from several organizations, including Lincoln Tech, the Boys & Girls Club of Union County, Thomas Edison Academy, Plainfield Public Schools, and Union College of Union County (UCNJ), among others.

We look forward to participating in future meetings to contribute new ideas and collaborate on planning a successful Career Fair that connects students with meaningful career opportunities and helps employers identify and develop new talent.

Career Information Session at Rahway High School
JAG Specialist Mr. Leon Bunion invited us to present to the students at Rahway High School on Tuesday, January 20th, where we shared information about the programs and career pathways offered by Kaizen Technologies.

It was a pleasure engaging with the students, and I was encouraged by their enthusiasm and genuine interest in learning how our training programs can support informed and successful career choices after high school. I truly enjoyed discussing how our programs promote workforce readiness and long-term career growth.

I was especially touched by the handwritten thank-you card from the students following the presentation. We look forward to continuing our partnership with Rahway High School to help students explore training, placement, and apprenticeship opportunities through our institution and to support their success in the IT and healthcare fields.

RWJ Barnabas Health Apprenticeship Celebration:
Kaizen, a Registered Apprenticeship sponsor since 2019, was invited to attend the RWJ Barnabas Health Apprenticeship Celebration on October 17, 2025, at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey. The event honored graduates of the hospital’s apprenticeship programs, recognizing their dedication, perseverance, and excellence in completing their training. Guests—primarily RWJ Barnabas Health partners engaged in collaborative efforts to advance apprenticeship initiatives within the healthcare sector—gathered to celebrate these distinguished individuals as they began the next chapter of their professional careers in healthcare. Kaizen delivered the Computer Technician apprenticeship training for RWJ Barnabas employees seeking to advance their careers in Healthcare IT. Newark Works Business and Organizational Networking Event:
The Kaizen team attended the Business and Organizational Networking Event hosted by the Newark Works American Job Center on September 23, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at 375 McArthur Highway in Newark. The event was attended by vocational schools, community development organizations such as New Community on West Market Street in Newark, AL Munir—a multidisciplinary consulting firm specializing in curriculum development, qualitative research, arts and culture programming, and public health research—the Urban League of Essex County, which is dedicated to improving the lives of disadvantaged residents throughout the county, and New Jersey state colleges, including NJIT.

The event fostered opportunities for collaboration and partnership aimed at supporting growth and prosperity within the Newark community.

The Kaizen team attended the Greater Raritan 2025 Job Fair at Bridgewater Hindu Temple.

Nearly 70 employers and agencies participated in the Greater Raritan 2025 Job Fair, held at the Hindu Temple and Cultural Society in Bridgewater on Thursday, May 29, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

This fourth annual event was hosted by the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board and the New Jersey Department of Labor & Workforce Development, in collaboration with the temple. Employers from Hunterdon and Somerset Counties, along with surrounding counties, connected their open positions with the hundreds of job seekers who attended the fair.
