Curious about how much an appraisals cost for a probate? The list is pretty long including surface, mineral and working interests.

A good appraiser should be able to give you an estimate before starting the job if you have the list of properties for them to review. It does tend to be a more costly service due to the experience and skill required, but a good appraiser should save the estate money in the long run since it should help the new owners of the asset navigate the properties more effectively and avoid selling for low-ball offers, or missing royalty checks or elections without realizing it.

Who owns the mineral rights to my property in Oklahoma?

The only way to determine mineral rights ownership in Oklahoma is to do a title search at the courthouse where the property is located. To do this, you must review all deeds and other legal conveyances pertaining to the subject tract back to 1907. Mineral ownership information is not available online from any website.
