Today marks 29 years for our tax practice, 34 years for me in the accounting profession, and an incredible 72 years our family has proudly provided tax services across four generations.
What began with my great-grandfather, Omar Abbott Slayter, was carried forward by Christopher “Kitt” Slayter, then through the next generation of our family, and today continues through me — and now Cooper Jenson as the fourth generation stepping into the profession and the future of our family legacy.
This was never just a business in our family. It was a calling built on trust, relationships, hard work, and showing up for people when they needed guidance most. For over seven decades, our family has had the privilege of serving individuals, families, and business owners through every kind of economy, challenge, and milestone imaginable.
To see Cooper now becoming part of that story is something difficult to put into words. Very few people get to witness a legacy continue in real time. That may be the most meaningful accomplishment of all.
