Integrated Network Enhanced Telemetry (iNET)

Integrated Network Enhanced Telemetry (iNET) The Next Generation Department of Defense Aeronautical Telemetry Platform

The iNET project's objective is to provide a high throughput, low-latency solution for addressing the communication needs of aeronautical test and evaluation. iNET provides a platform which includes a networked instrumentation system architecture, open interface standards, and a reference design called the Telemetry Network System (TmNS)

A high throughput ruggedized Ethernet network with IEEE 15

88 network time synchronization (within 1 millisecond) is used to transport data samples on the aircraft being tested. The TmNS then includes a wireless Internet Protocol (IP) based network to transport this data to the ground.
