So, what are you looking at?

That little gauge is called a manometer, and it’s one of the easiest ways to get an up-to-the-minute indication of whether a residential radon mitigation system is operating properly.

A manometer measures the pressure/vacuum being created by the radon fan. When you know what your system normally looks like, a quick glance at the gauge can help you spot a change that may indicate a problem with the system.

😂 It’s hot. It’s humid. It’s a crawlspace…and apparently, we’re still smiling.

Today’s radon install came with a little extra meaning. These two are putting in the work in one of the hottest places imaginable, but tomorrow is also our last day with one of them for a while. ❤️

After several years of crawling, sweating, hauling, drilling, laughing and getting the job done, our guy on the right is heading back to Iowa State tomorrow.

We’re incredibly grateful for the years he’s spent with Miller Environmental—and while we’re definitely going to miss having him around, we’re even more proud to watch him head back to school and keep chasing what’s next. 🎓

Good luck, You’ll always have a place in the Miller Environmental crew. 💙
