Many thanks to our community for being part of our IVRMA & IVT event!

This past Monday, October 5th, our first community event took place at the Calexico Transit Center, where more than 150 people attended. Raffles, snacks, and drinks were provided. 🥳

Thanks to all the agencies that participated and were part of this great event, where each distributed free resources and information to our entire community. 👏

We hope to hold this event again soon, because it’s very important for us to be involved and support our community.😊

Food waste recycling is easy! ♻️🥬🍎

Here’s how:
• Place kitchen food scraps in a certified compostable bag or paper bag.
• Look for the BPI logo or the word “compostable.”
• Place bagged food scraps in your cart with the green lid.
• No trash or recyclables allowed.

Acceptable items include fruits, vegetables, dairy, breads, grains, meat, seafood and coffee grounds.

Let’s do our part to reduce waste and keep our community cleaner and greener. 🌱

¡Reciclar los desechos de comida es fácil! ♻️🥬🍎
