Its been a little over a month since I joined Twisted Shears, and I wanted to take a minute to introduce myself- or maybe reintroduce myself to some of you!

I’m Lorie Porter, and I have lived in this area my whole life. I attended PCEC in my Junior and Senior years of high school. After graduating Smackover High School, I finished the cosmetology program at PCEC and earned my Arkansas cosmetology license in 2003.
Shortly afterward is when the cosmetology school relocated from Camden to El Dorado.

Over the past 23 years, I have worked in a handful of salons in El Dorado and eventually opened my own, Bombshell Hair Loft, which I operated for 10 years.

I’ve been married to my FUNNY, incredibly supportive, hardworking husband, Ryan, for almost 20 years. Together we’ve been blessed with our four amazing kiddos- Landon, Raygon, Kannon, and Brenlee Porter.

I have always loved being different.
I love finding new ways to create, learning new techniques, and thinking outside the box. I definitely do NOT mind being the oddball- that’s where the art is!
To me, being a hairstylist isn’t just “doing hair”; it’s about creativity, artistry, and helping people feel empowered and confident while giving me an ever-changing creative outlet where no two days- and no two heads of hair- are the same.

If you’re looking for a stylist who loves to create, isn’t afraid to think outside the box, and likes to color outside the lines every now and then, I’d love to have you in my chair.
