Founded by Ysleta del Sur Pueblo, Tigua Inc. is dedicated to advancing the Tigua community. It is vital for our success that each new member of our workforce is aligned with the history and the mission of YDSP. His innovative company merges graphic design, screen printing, and skateboarding, showcasing his creative and business savvy. 🎨🛹

David's dedication to the community shines through his annual skateboarding events at the Pakitu Skate Plaza, where he brings together youth from El Paso and neighboring tribal communities. These events promote physical wellness and social connections among young people.

📚Balancing a Civil Engineering degree at the University of Texas at El Paso, David stands as a beacon of inspiration, juggling his educational, professional, and community roles.

David truly embodies the YDSP's vision of empowering their youth to pursue careers that are not only successful but also personally rewarding. Tigua Inc. is excited to share the latest addition to our entryway: artwork from Ysleta del Sur Pueblo tribal member Patrick Holguin. Patrick, a multifaceted artist, has had a lifelong engagement with the arts, reigniting his artistic journey in painting about a year ago. Besides being a painter, he has also practiced tattooing since the late 90s.
His work primarily focuses on canvas, where he skillfully reinterprets traditional Tigua patterns and styles. In his tattoos and other works, Patrick draws inspiration from Chicano, Aztec, and Mayan cultures. These diverse influences come together in his art, creating unique and meaningful pieces that are a reflection of his deep connection to his heritage.
It's Patrick's personal mission to help keep traditions alive and relevant through his creative expression.
As a proudly tribally owned company, we are immensely proud to display Patrick Holguin's artwork. It's not just an enhancement of our physical space; it represents our deep respect and appreciation for the rich cultural diversity and history of the Tigua community.
