Gemology is the study of gems and our laboratory identifies characteristics of gemstones to determine their type, whether they are natural or synthetic, and then we appraise them to come up with a value. Whether it is a piece of jewelry you inherited from your grandmother or a piece of jewelry or gemstone you acquired at a garage sale, we can identify it for you and put a value on it for insurance

, resale, consignment or sale. If you decide you want to sell it, we can broker it for you and get you the best value possible. Our laboratory is the only gemological laboratory accredited by the American Gem Society and the Accredited Gemologists Association in El Paso.

Heads up! Just read on Texas Jewelers Talk Facebook group that "First-Class" postage is going up on July 14th from 68 cents to 73 cents per stamp. Go out and buy more stamps now and save yourself 5 cents a piece for any future mail. Most probably, that means UPS and FedEx will also have an increase for any shipments we make. Pass the information on to your jeweler friends to save them money!💰💰
