I’ve debated sharing this for a long time, but I think it’s important to show the side of skincare that doesn’t always make it onto Instagram.

This pigmentation started after a Morpheus8 treatment.

I went into that appointment expecting to improve my skin. Instead, I ended up with pigmentation I had never dealt with before and changes to my face that I never asked for.

I specifically expressed concerns about certain areas being treated because I did NOT want to affect my facial fat.
Yet… here I am, still dealing with the aftermath.

It has been frustrating. It has been expensive and honestly, there have been moments where I’ve been really angry about what happened.

But this photo, taken yesterday,gives me hope. One month apart, and I can finally see noticeable fading of the pigment.

If you’ve ever dealt with stubborn hyperpigmentation, you know how painfully slow progress can feel.
So I’m celebrating this little win.
My skin is healing.
The pigment is fading.
And I’m learning more about my skin through this experience than I ever expected.

I’ll be sharing more about what happened, what I’ve learned about RF microneedling, and why I feel so strongly about being informed before agreeing to these treatments.

Because sometimes the treatment marketed as an “upgrade” can become the very thing you’re trying to recover from.
