⚠️ Solicitor Alert ⚠️
The City of El Reno would like to remind residents that as of Today, June 23, 2026, there are currently NO licensed solicitors operating in El Reno.
City ordinance requires all solicitors to obtain a permit before conducting business door-to-door. It is also against city ordinance to solicit at a residence displaying a "No Soliciting" sign.
Permitted solicitation hours are limited to:
🏠 Residential and Agricultural Districts
9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
🏢 All Other Zoning Districts
7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Unfortunately, recent storms can make communities targets for unlicensed solicitors and scam contractors. If someone is soliciting in your neighborhood, especially outside of permitted hours or without proper identification, please contact the El Reno Police Department non-emergency number at 405-262-6941.
