Looking for barn help. If you are interested in working around horses on a daily basis, please PM me. Looking for someone to turn horses in and out, mucking stalls, feeding and watering let me know. Job will start part time, but if you are the right person, it will turn into full time. We are located in the Eldridge, Iowa area.

Bob is still at the barn, keeping all the horses safe through this wonderful weather. He has asked me to send everyone this note. Please try not to go out to the barn until Sunday afternoon at the earliest, especially if the winds pick up like they are forecasting. You may not make it! The roads out here are terrible! Please stay safe and warm! If anything changes, I will let you know!

Looks like winter is finally here! Just want to let everybody know that all horses will be well taken care of through this stuff coming at us. Please don’t attempt to come out to the barn. You may not be able to get in here. Rest assured, Bob is planning on staying here for the next couple of days to be able to feed and water and plow things out. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to call me! Stay safe and warm. We will still be here when the weather gets better.

Just to let everyone know, we have a big swarm of bees. They are by the front gates in and around the evergreen tree. Bob has contacted someone local who is going to round them up. Hoping he will be able to at least get most (or all) sooner rather than later! So, if you happen to see someone out here, please know everything should be fine in a relatively short amount of time. If you are allergic to bee stings, please keep your windows up! Thanks!!! Ann
