Celebrating our last crush of the season with Uno and our own 1867.
Uno is our resident Old English Southdown Babydoll sheep. He’s a sucker for ear scratches.
1867 is our Rioja-style blend, named for my 3rd-great-grandfather, John “Monty” Pemberthy. When the mines in Cornwall, England began to close down, Monty set his sights on Arizona’s Mohave County Territory, crossing an ocean and traveling by stagecoach in 1867 to stake his claim in the mining frontier. More than 150 years later, we are still here in Arizona carrying that same pioneering spirit into a new Arizona frontier—w**e. Cheers!
