This is Pioneer Farms, a living history museum in Austin Texas. It's one of Austin's gems. I started teaching blacksmithing classes in this building in the early 90's. I can't believe it's been 30+ years.... and l still absolutely love teaching blacksmithing classes. Now, Tiger and I teach at Headlong Farm in Elgin the 2nd Saturday of each month. Our next class is October 10th from 8 to 10am. The weather is changing and it's a perfect time to work over an open fire. You can buy your tickets at Headlongfarm.com. There's still spots available.

Well... the ladies are back and changing things up a bit. She Creates Union Summer Luna Market is this Saturday from 11 to 3pm at Berry Perez Studio in Elgin. We will have lots of female makers with all handmade goodies, live music, garden games start at 1, hot dogs, treats and more. Proceeds from the food will be donated to Friends of the Elgin P***c Library. What a great way to support local makers and our community!

We are so excited for our 1st AustinFlea! This Saturday at The Brewtorium in Austin from 11 to 5. This event is for Barks for Beers benefitting Divine Canines who provide free therapy dog services for those in need in Central Texas. The weather is going to be beautiful. So come on by and help support local makers and grab a b**r.
