At the beginning of their endeavor, the husband and wife team would travel to corporate offices to serve employees during lunch; however, when COVID began to show up full-force around the city, Maria, who goes by Rosa, and W***y, known as Chef W***y, started to worry. Annette Licitra Winkelman founded Passionette Palate to teach others about a nutritional approach to health and wellness. With a background in the culinary arts, a certification as a health coach, and a personal testimony of how nutrition can heal the body, Annette works to help her clients gain a new perspective on food. “It’s all about shifting the paradigm and presenting the alternative. It’s emotionally, physically, and financially possible to eat healthy.” Annette began using Dream Hall at 51 soon after she started hosting cooking classes and wellness events. Over the past couple years, she’s found that the space perfectly fits Passionette Palate’s needs. “I love the uniqueness of the space. It’s a big industrial loft with a dining hall and easy access to the kitchen. My clients have the visual ability to see what’s going on when we are cooking or plating food.”

Patricio Puga and Viviane Motta de Mello turned to Dream HUB five months ago when the couple decided to begin selling brigadeiros, alfajores, and other Latin American sweets nostalgic of the couple’s childhoods. Though passionate about their products’ allegiance to both tradition and innovation, Patricio and Viviane knew little about creating a successful business within the food industry. “Through Dream EDU we learned what it means to be a food service provider. Before the program, the phrase “food service industry” wasn’t even in our vocabulary. When we started, we didn’t have a definition of what we wanted to do or how we were going to go about reaching customers. “If you decide to take the leap of owning a start-up, Dream Kitchen is a logical step.” Brian and Rhonda Marshall, owners of an all natural hair and body product company called Inahsi Naturals, started renting space and equipment from Dream Kitchen in April of 2018 to formulate their products. Dream HUB? Yeah, we get that question quite often around here. Well, the problem is that we are really good at filling our schedule with a lot of projects and have never really taken the time to introduce the staff and partners behind the scene. Over the next couple of weeks and months, we will be talking a little about ourselves so that our community can get to know us.
