A color or finish can look completely different once it moves from a small sample into a full commercial environment.

Lighting plays a role. Flooring plays a role. Furniture and surrounding materials play a role. Even the amount of natural light entering the building can change how a finish is perceived throughout the day.

One of the biggest misconceptions about commercial painting is that the project begins when the first brush or sprayer comes out.

In reality, successful projects start much earlier. Site walkthroughs, scheduling, surface evaluations, coordination with other trades, and safety planning all happen before work begins. Investing time in preparation helps projects run more efficiently and supports a higher-quality outcome.

The finished result is only as good as the planning behind it.

Retail spaces rarely have the luxury of shutting down for improvements. That means every project requires careful planning, efficient ex*****on, and close coordination to minimize disruptions while maintaining the quality customers expect.

One of our recent projects took us to Walgreens, where our team completed painting updates that refreshed the space while supporting the store's ongoing operations. It's a great example of how preparation, communication, and craftsmanship come together to deliver results that benefit both the business and its customers.
