As we kick off 2026, Hoffer Flow Controls is ready to dive into new opportunities, innovation, and continued excellence in measurement. Our Marketing Director, Clay Abney (pictured far right), set the tone for the year with an early-morning polar plunge in the ocean at sunrise—a bold reminder that great things start by stepping outside your comfort zone. He said, "The water temperature was 51 degrees, and the air temperature was around 30 degrees."

After 32 years of dedicated service, we are proud to celebrate the retirement of Russell Layden from Hoffer Flow Controls.

Russell’s commitment, expertise, and loyalty have made a lasting impact on our company and the people he worked alongside every day. For more than three decades, he exemplified what it means to be dependable, knowledgeable, and truly invested in the success of Hoffer and our customers.

To show our appreciation, Hoffer Flow Controls was honored to surprise Russell and his wife (Linda) with a 7-day cruise, a small token of thanks for his many years of hard work and dedication.

Russell, thank you for everything you’ve contributed over the past 32 years. We wish you and your wife smooth sailing, wonderful memories, and a retirement filled with relaxation and new adventures. 🌊🚢

Though Ken passed away in 2020, his vision continues to guide our company every day — in the quality of our products, the dedication of our people, and the relationships we build with customers around the world. His belief in doing things the right way remains the foundation of everything we do.
