Our main goal is to provide our neighbors with a safe, inexpensive means of discarding unwanted or outdated papers containing personally identifiable information (tax forms, credit card/bank statements, and old checks or carbon copies) and junk mail (offers of credit), or other items too numerous to list here but would be far better to have us break the items into their various types of materials

and recycle than to throw them into the trash or take to the recycling center. We are now able to accepts the following:

Documents, laptop computers, desktop computers, tower computers, and cellphones. East Carolina Industries was established to address the need for learning and exercising life-skills and flexible employment opportunities for those with disabilities. This means tasks are assigned with people's skills and limitations in mind and are rotated on a regular basis to eliminate boredom and any further physical injury. This type of service provides people with disabilities a viable means of employment and provides us a revenue stream from the residual waste consumer products contain in a manner that is environmentally friendly.
