The High Center for Nonprofits is thrilled to welcome Supportive Partnerships for Youth (SPY) to The High Center community! 🎉

Founded in 1986, SPY is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping children learn and grow academically, socially, and emotionally by providing enriching programs and supportive relationships at no cost to families. What began as a summer outreach mission has grown into a year-round community of care serving children in the Carlisle area.

Through academic activities, mentoring, field trips, meals, transportation, and positive relationship-building, SPY creates opportunities for elementary-aged students to thrive and reach their full potential. Their mission is rooted in the belief that every child deserves equitable access to experiences and support that help shape a brighter future.

Since 1982, the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank has worked to end hunger across 27 counties in Central Pennsylvania by providing nutritious food, fostering community collaboration, and advancing innovative solutions. Through partnerships with nearly 1,100 local agencies and programs, the organization serves approximately 268,000 people each month through its Healthy Food Hubs.

Driven by values of compassion, partnership, integrity, and excellence, the Food Bank does far more than distribute meals. Their work includes nutrition education, SNAP outreach, partnerships with local farmers and food providers, and innovative programs designed to improve long-term food security throughout the region.
