One of the things I’ve always enjoyed is watching good people grow and succeed, even when their path takes them beyond TLR Well Services.

Drue Sirmon used to flow wells for me, and I always appreciated his hard work, dependability, and the kind of person he was in the field. Over time, Drue decided to follow his dreams and pursue a career in EMS and the fire service. Today, seeing him serve as Fire Chief is something I’m proud to see.

I know the value Drue brought to us when he worked in the oilfield, and I’m sure the Granite community appreciates the leadership, dedication, and work ethic he brings to them as Fire Chief.

At TLR Well Services, we believe in backing our people — not only while they work for us, but after they move on to pursue new opportunities and bigger goals.

Drue, we appreciate everything you did for TLR and wish you nothing but continued success. We’re proud to see where your journey has taken you.

A huge thank you to TLR Well Services Inc. out of Elk City! 🛢️⚙️🚒❤️

TLR recently donated $1,000 to the Granite Fire Association, which directly supports the Granite Fire Department and our firefighters.

Pictured is our Fire Chief, Drue Sirmons, flexing his “muscles” while posing with the donation. 😂💪 He thought he’d bring out the “big guns” since TLR showed up for us! He even showcased their hat just to show how much they mean to us!

Before Drue traded his hard hat 👷‍♂️ and oilfield days 🛢️🔧 for fire trucks, ambulances, and lights and sirens 🚒🚑, he actually worked for TLR himself, so receiving this donation means a little bit more.

Drue said he was supposed to bring the muscle for the picture, and as you can see, he tried really, really hard. 😂
Unfortunately, he fell a little short, and TLR had to pick up the slack. 💪🛢️

All jokes aside, we’re not sure TLR fully realizes just how much this donation means to our department.

There are so many things our fire department needs, and every little bit truly helps. This donation gives us the ability to purchase much-needed gear like gloves, boots, Nomex, and other protective equipment, as well as supplies for firefighter rehab. These are the things that help protect and take care of our firefighters while they’re out there doing the job. 🔥🚒

And as anyone in fire, EMS, or the oilfield knows, the second you slap the words “firefighter,” “medical,” or, well… “oilfield” onto something, the price seems to go up considerably. 😂🔥🚑🛢️ Those expenses add up FAST for a small volunteer department.

So when a company like TLR steps up with a $1,000 donation, it makes a much bigger difference than they may realize. It means we can purchase things we genuinely need without having to wonder which need gets pushed down the list a little longer.

TLR, we hope you know how incredibly grateful we are for your generosity and your willingness to support Granite Fire.
