What a beautiful community this stretch of land will someday become! We’ve been working with Aqua Poppy at the site of the former Oakland Naval Hospital to provide stormwater management for Freehold Communities. The development will feature up to 918 residential units, 72 thousand square feet of commercial space, and acres of parks, trails, and wetlands. 🏘️

We’re excited to welcome Mike von Quilich as our new Vice President at Edwards Family Companies.

Mike has been a close friend of Austin and Kaycie for many years, and we couldn’t be more confident bringing him into this role. He brings deep, hands-on experience in operations, business leadership, home building, and development, along with a track record of getting things done the right way.

More importantly, he understands how we operate, what we value, and where we’re going. This isn’t a hire to “fill a seat,” it’s a strategic move as we continue to grow and raise the bar across everything we do.

Welcome to the team, Mike. Let’s get to work. 🌱

We’re proud to support Joseph J. Albanese, Inc. on the Monterey Bay Sanctuary Scenic Trail Project at Wilder Ranch State Park in Santa Cruz County. This 7.5-mile improvement project, funded by the Department of Transportation, includes the construction of a multi-use path, road, and parking lot aimed at enhancing access to one of the region’s most beautiful coastal areas.

Our team is on site installing TRM, Curlex blankets, fiber rolls, and hydroseed to stabilize the terrain and support long-term environmental resilience. We are excited to contribute to a trail system that will serve the community for years to come.
