Just a friendly HEADS UP for California business owners!

Keep an eye out for your Notice of Contribution Rates (DE 2088) from the California EDD! Your 2027 rates are being sent out now!

It's one of those notices that's easy to set aside, but it contains your business's unemployment insurance tax rate for the upcoming year.

When you receive it, be sure to forward a copy to your bookkeeper, accountant, or payroll provider so they can verify that the correct rate is entered in your payroll system.

Even if you use a full-service payroll company, it's always a good idea to double-check!

Just sharing a little reminder to help avoid any unnecessary headaches down the road. 😊
