Heads up Elk Mountain and everyone traveling along I-80 ⚠️❄️

A winter storm is rolling in, and conditions are expected to get rough. High winds, blowing snow, and slick roads can make travel dangerous in a hurry. If you don’t have to be out, it’s best to stay put. If you do, please slow down, give yourself extra space, and be prepared for rapidly changing conditions.

Make sure your vehicle is winter-ready, keep an emergency kit on hand, and always let someone know your travel plans.

If you find yourself in a tough spot or need assistance out there, don’t hesitate to give us a call — we’re here to help.

Stay safe out there, Wyoming 💛🤎

In heavy recovery, the difference between a controlled recovery and a disaster often comes down to the equipment in your hands.

Bailey’s Rigging rim slings are built for exactly that moment. Strong, dependable, and designed to protect the wheels and suspension while still giving the operator the strength and control needed to recover a loaded truck the right way.

And when that rigging is paired with a Miller Industries unit, you’re working with the gold standard of recovery equipment. Miller builds machines designed for power, reach, precision, and reliability — equipment trusted across the industry when the jobs get big, dangerous, and technical.

Bailey’s Rigging delivers the strength.
Miller Industries delivers the muscle.

Together, that combination gives operators the control, safety, and capability needed to recover heavy trucks without causing additional damage and while keeping the motoring public safe.

Top-tier rigging.
World-class equipment.
No shortcuts when the job matters.

⚠️ Winter on I-80 separates the prepared from the stranded.

Wind cutting across the interstate.
Snow blowing sideways.
A loaded semi suddenly off the road where it never should be.

That’s when the call comes in.

While most drivers are trying to get away from the storm, our crew is heading straight into it. Rollovers in the ditch. Jackknifes across the lanes. Trucks stuck in snow and ice with traffic moving only feet away.

When the job gets serious, The Warden rolls out.
Our rotator gives us the lifting power and control to stabilize and recover trucks from positions most equipment simply can’t handle. Every recovery is planned and executed with precision to keep the operation controlled and protect the motoring public moving through the scene.

Because out here it’s not just about picking a truck up.
It’s about handling the situation safely, efficiently, and getting Wyoming’s interstate moving again.

🚛 Rollovers
🚛 Jackknifes
🚛 Off-road recoveries
🚛 Severe winter recoveries

High Altitude Towing & Recovery
Servicing the I-80 corridor safely and efficiently.

Every time Wyoming gets hit with bad weather, we see the well-deserved appreciation posts for WYHP, plow drivers, EMTs, and other first responders. And they absolutely deserve every bit of that recognition. 🙌
But there’s one group that almost always gets left out , Tow truck operators. 🪝
Tow operators are out there in the same storms, on the same icy highways, working long hours in brutal conditions. They’re dragging heavy chains, pulling wrecked vehicles out of ditches, clearing jackknifed semis, and literally reopening the roads so traffic can move again. Without them, those highways would stay blocked and dangerous much longer.
They’re the ones cleaning up the havoc after the storm hits. ❄️
Tow truck operators are some of the most hardworking and least recognized people out there during Wyoming winters.
While we are always thankful for our first responders and road crews, it’s worth remembering the men and women in the tow trucks who help keep those roads open and safe.
Next time you see a tow operator working on the side of the road, slow down, move over, and remember they’re out there risking it too.
To all the tow operators working through the storms ,we see you, and we appreciate you!💪
