Elk River, Minn — April 17th 2026

Sportech has earned recognition as a Partner-level supplier for 2025 in the John Deere Achieving Excellence Program. The Partner-level status is Deere & Company’s highest supplier rating.
Sportech was selected for the honor in recognition of its dedication to providing products and service of outstanding quality as well as its commitment to continuous improvement.
Mike Campbell, Vice President of Operations and Travis Elwood, National Account Manager accepted the recognition on behalf of Sportech during formal ceremonies held on April 16th in Moline IL.
“We are honored to have received the distinctive rating of Partner-level supplier to John Deere.” Said Mike Campbell, Vice President of Operations. “John Deere is an OEM customer that has always invested heavily in supplier development; we are a better company because of their efforts, and we appreciate our nearly 25-year relationship together.”
Sportech is a leading supplier of UTV and Agricultural Windshields and Cab components to John Deere’s operations in Horicon Works and Des Moines Works.
Suppliers who participate in the Achieving Excellence program are evaluated annually in several key performance categories, including quality, delivery, process alignments, value creation and relationship. John Deere Supply Management created the program in 1991 to provide a supplier evaluation and feedback process that promotes continuous improvement.

Sportech Announces Leadership Transition as Jim Glomstad Retires

Sportech today announced a leadership transition as Jim Glomstad retires following nearly 16 years of dedicated service to the organization.
Throughout his tenure, Jim has been widely respected for his steady leadership, thoughtful decision-making, and unwavering commitment to both the business and its people. Known for leading with integrity, humility, and a calm, solutions-oriented approach, he earned the trust and respect of customers and team members alike. His ability to navigate complex challenges while fostering a collaborative and accountable culture has played a critical role in shaping the success of the Sportech.
“We are deeply grateful for Jim’s leadership and the lasting impact he has made on the Sportech organization,” said Hugo Gonzalez, President – Powersports and Housing and Chief Operating Officer of Patrick Industries. “He leaves behind a strong foundation and a culture that will continue to serve Sportech well into the future.”

As part of this transition, Sportech is pleased to announce that Caleb Hanson has assumed the role of President for Sportech. Caleb brings 23 years of experience with the company, having progressed within the organization from the production floor to most recently serving as Vice President of Sales. His deep knowledge of the business, entrepreneurial spirit, and long-standing commitment to Sportech uniquely position him to lead the organization forward.
To ensure a smooth and seamless transition, Jim will continue to support the business in an advisory capacity, working closely with Caleb over the coming months, retiring fully in early summer 2026.
