Taking time away from work is important. Take the time to tep away from the desk and go outside - soak in the vitamin D, read a book, sit by the pool, do a little gardening, take a hike, stroll along the beach. Do something that enriches your soul and takes focus away from your work. You may find that you come back to your desk rejuvenated, refreshed, and with renewed motivation.

I love being a part of this association. It gives me insight into a part of the profession that I've not really spent a lot of time with. Plus, it brings together the consumer AND the provider. When you have both sides of the equation sitting together, you can delve into the most important topics and see from the other's perspective.

The Global Alliance of Speech-to-Text Captioning operates as a business league within the meaning of Section 501(c)(6) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions may be tax deductible. Check with your tax professional.
