Members of the Equinox Gold South Railroad Mine team had a wonderful time participating in the Nevada Women's Fund Celebrating Achievement Elko event last week.

We were especially honored to meet Bridget, the recipient of our scholarship and one of the evening’s speakers. Hearing about her journey and her commitment to staying in the Elko area to help expand mental health resources in our rural communities was truly inspiring.

We’re proud to support the Nevada Women's Fund and its mission to help women across rural Nevada pursue their educational goals. Investing in women is an investment in the future of our communities, and we’re grateful to play a small part in helping local women continue their education, build their careers, and make a difference right here at home!

As Equinox Gold continues to grow, we are seeking a Benefits Specialist to join our team. This role is critical to delivering a positive employee experience, supporting workforce retention, and ensuring employees have access to the benefits, resources, and information they need throughout their employment lifecycle.

The Benefits Specialist will administer employee benefit programs and support accurate and timely payroll for a diverse workforce that includes mine-site employees, shift workers, salaried staff, and employees working in remote locations.

This position will serve as a key resource for employees, helping them understand and navigate their benefits while ensuring benefit and payroll processes are accurate, efficient, and compliant with applicable regulations.

We’re excited to have completed the federal permitting process and to begin on-site construction!

This milestone represents an important step forward for our project and the future of Elko County and northeastern Nevada, bringing additional investment, jobs, and economic value to the region.

We appreciate the predictability and transparency provided by FAST-41 while maintaining a rigorous environmental review process. We look forward to getting to work and continuing to contribute to the region we're proud to call home.
