Day 2 is wrapped up, with students learning the tailboard safety briefing - and spending more time getting familiar with their gear. The safety briefing is an excellent tool for working projects with multiple moving parts - to communicate clearly the actions, pinch points, and hazards of the day. Every day, our students prepare in this manner - building work habits that will carry them far into their career!

Day one is done. It went better than I thought, with fewer struggles than many others. My shins are blistered, but that's the only real issue. Today's challenge? The intense heat and sweat, a struggle everyone seems to be sharing.

3 Years...
..Utilitrain has been working to get these pole circles filled, and today is that day! Thank you to everyone who has helped us along the way, from our staff to the students, parents, families, friends, to our vendors and public school systems throughout the region, it's a very thankful feeling we have today - when we can look out and see 32 students on Day 1 of our Electrical Lineman Program.

Thank you for supporting us on this journey - and we can't wait to see what happens next!

At Utilitrain - we wear leather gloves to protect our hands, even when you're doing something simple. If you get a cut, it can get worse when you have to put on rubber gloves... especially in the hot summer.
