Is this Historic Home one of the Most Haunted in South Carolina
Construction began in 1801 and lasted seven years. Foster's Tavern sits on the corner of Union Street and Southport Road. It is said to be the oldest brick home in Spartanburg County and one of the most haunted.
According to multiple online reports, the old structure has accrued a few paranormal residents over the years. Footsteps and voices can be heard in the area of the stairs, along with horses’ hooves on the roof.
The property was a stop on a well-traveled stagecoach route to Charleston and turned into a tavern by Anthony Foster in the 1830s.
Today, the old home is a private residence. This article is a part of our series, Haunted Spartanburg.

From what I have I came up with this was used as a military hospital then later became the first Rutherford Hospital.

On this clown motel. The rooms range from $80 - $130 a night. I plan on a 7 day trip. May rent a van or fly which ever is the cheapest at the time. Plans are to go late Sept early Oct. Anybody that is interested needs to let me know so I can get the rooms booked.
