πŸ“‹ LATE MARCH HIRING PULSE β€” Spring ramp up is happening NOW

This is the best time of year to get approved at new contractors β€” BEFORE they’re overwhelmed.

Who to call in the next 2 weeks:

πŸ”΄ Columbia County GCs β€” Tillery Park Phase III lots selling NOW
Dirt hauling season starts when lots sell. They’re selling.

πŸ”΄ Beltline Section 3B β€” bids coming Spring 2026
Section 4A is active now. Get on 3B early. Urban Atlanta demo = top rates.

🟑 Hall County β€” +14% permit growth (fastest in metro Atlanta)
More permits = more site work = more hauling. Every GC in Hall County needs more capacity.

🟑 Forsyth/Cumming β€” Toll Brothers + multiple active builders
Subdivision dirt is steady and predictable. Good filler between GDOT runs.

The window is now. Approved drivers work spring. Unapproved drivers watch.

I'm going to tell you something most trucking coaches won't say:

The directory isn't magic. The calls are.

I built T3 Consulting because I watched drivers with great equipment, good CDLs, and solid work ethic sit at home 3-4 days a week β€” not because there was no work, but because they had no system for finding it.

The system is simple:
1. Know which contractors have active projects in your radius RIGHT NOW
2. Call them by name referencing their active project
3. Quote your correct rate (not your lowball rate)
4. Show up for 30 consecutive days
5. Become their first call

That's it. That's the whole playbook.

The directory gives you #1 and #2 with live intel. The rate guide gives you #3. The action plan gives you #4 and #5.

What I can't give you is #4. You have to do that part.

But every driver I've worked with who showed up every day for 30 days after getting their directory is now working 5 days a week. Every single one.

πŸ“‹ HIRING SIGNAL β€” Week of March 2, 2026

Companies actively looking for sub-haul drivers RIGHT NOW:

πŸ”΄ E.R. Snell Contractor β€” ACTIVELY POSTING
β€’ Indeed listing active for Atlanta + Augusta markets
β€’ Projects: I-285/I-20 east interchange (Atlanta) + SR 104 Richmond County (Augusta)
β€’ Call: (770) 985-0600
β€’ What to say: 'I'm a Class A owner-operator with my own MC looking to get on your sub-haul list. I saw you're active on [project name].'
πŸ”΄ Action Resources Inc β€” Augusta area
β€’ SimplyHired listing confirmed this month
β€’ Tandem preferred, hourly work, consistent volume

🟑 Martin Marietta Augusta Quarry β€” approved hauler list
β€’ Contact: Travis Burke (plant manager direct) β€” (706) 231-6075
β€’ Best quarry contact in Augusta. Most drivers never get a direct name.
β€’ Dispatches daily. Steady work between contractor gigs.

Class A CDL + own MC = you're qualified for all three. Make these calls this week.

Drop a comment below if you called and what they said β€” let's build the intel together. πŸ’ͺ

Real situation. Real result. πŸ‘‡

Driver comes to me last month. Class A CDL. Own Tandem Axle. Own MC. Based in Augusta.

Working 2 days a week. Frustrated. Thinking about going back under someone else's authority.

We talked through what was actually happening:
β€’ He was cold-calling random contractors with no intel on who was hiring
β€’ He was quoting $80/hr because 'he wanted to be competitive'
β€’ He had no idea E.R. Snell just landed a $493K GDOT contract in Richmond County
β€’ He'd never heard of the Fury's Ferry TSPLOST widening β€” a project running RIGHT OUTSIDE HIS CITY

I built him a directory.
Live GDOT project data. Direct contacts. Rate guide. Word-for-word call scripts.

He made 5 calls Week 1.
3 contractors asked him to come in and get approved.
He worked 4 days the following week.
He worked 5 days the week after that.

He didn't get more qualified. He got better intel.

That's the only difference between a driver working 2 days and a driver working 5.

πŸ‘‰ Comment INFO or DM me if you want yours. $97. Pays for itself Day 1.

πŸš› Dump truck owner-operators in Georgia β€” this one's for you.

I built something I wish existed when I was starting out.

Every week, drivers in CSRA and metro Atlanta are leaving money on the table β€” not because they're bad drivers, but because they're calling the wrong contractors, quoting the wrong rates, and showing up without intel.

Here's what contractors actually want to see when you call:
βœ… You have your own MC number (they don't have to babysit your paperwork)
βœ… You're available 5 days a week, not just when you feel like it
βœ… You reference their active project by name when you call
βœ… You know your rates and don't lowball yourself out of the conversation

That last one is the biggest mistake I see. Drivers underbid to 'get their foot in the door' and then can't raise the rate. You don't get a second chance to make a first rate impression.

If you're in Augusta, Atlanta, Aiken SC, or anywhere in the Southeast and you want a list of contractors who are ACTIVELY hiring right now β€” built specific to your truck, your CDL, and your market β€”

πŸ‘‰ Comment INFO below or DM me. I build personalized directories for $97 that pay for themselves the first day you use them.
