Professional responsibility begins long before an assignment starts.

Today, the Advanced Tactical Solutions team met at our Ellijay, Georgia office for several hours of training, operational review, and team development. We then traveled to one of our client venues for a full advance walk-through and site assessment.

The team reviewed executive protection protocols, site-specific roles and responsibilities, communications, emergency response, first aid and trauma care, fi****ms policies and safety standards, report writing, documentation, and client-specific operational considerations.

These sessions keep responsibilities clear, strengthen coordination, and prepare our personnel to make sound decisions when conditions change. They also allow us to identify concerns before an event instead of reacting to them during one.

Last night in ATLANTA, another successful assignment in the books.

Our ATS Executive Protection team was on site supporting a private event with more than 150 attendees, providing a professional security presence throughout the evening.

Good protective work is rarely about being the center of attention. It’s about preparation, communication, situational awareness, and having experienced personnel in the right place when they’re needed.

BREAKING: A case worth watching for anyone in investigations, executive protection, cybersecurity, or law enforcement.

Federal prosecutors have charged an Atlanta resident in what has been reported as the first known U.S. case involving the alleged use of a smartphone “duress password” during a U.S. Customs and Border Protection search.

Because the matter is still pending in court, the allegations have not been proven. Regardless of the outcome, the case raises important legal questions about digital privacy, encrypted devices, border search authority, and the balance between individual privacy and government investigative powers.

This weekend, ATS had the privilege of hosting a dedicated Church Security Team from Blue Ridge, Georgia for the first weekend of an intensive 2-Day / 2-Weekend training program, combining our Tier 4 Defensive pistol and Tier 7 House of Worship Security courses.

We are truly honored that, year after year, this ministry continues to place its trust in ATS as the exclusive training provider for its in-house security team. From annual refreshers to the certification of new members, their commitment to professionalism and protecting their congregation is second to none.

The photos below represent only a small sample of what was a long, demanding, and highly successful training day. Students worked through movement, use of cover, multiple positions, casualty response, and a variety of realistic defensive scenarios designed specifically for the House of Worship environment.
