Red Sands Bottles and Cans Started in 2016 in an old one car garage, we have continued to grow and adapt to market changes.

Bottle and Can redemption center for ALL bottles and cans that were purchased in the state of Maine that you paid either a 5¢ or 15¢ on. All returnable cans and bottle must be clean with labels AND empty. We do not pay for cans and bottles with no labels or with liquids in them. Some bottles and cans bought in Maine that you paid deposit on may also not be in the bottle registry yet, and we may not be able to take those containers.

UPDATE! We will be back open tomorrow regular hours after putting a good dent in the ever growing pile of bottles. We have also taken time to work on making changes to our business to adapt to the increasing foot traffic at the Boggy Brook location. Our #1 priority is to ensure we are here for you when we say we are going to be here. We will no longer be offering pickup services to any NEW accounts outside of a 10 mile radius of 83 Boggy Brook Rd. We also will be suspending pick up services for NEW accounts during the busy season of July, August, September, and October. If you are an existing regular pickup account we will continue to serve you throughout the summer as needed. We are encouraging pickups from November through June in an effort to put our focus on the customers expecting us to be at 83 Boggy Brook Road. Make your appointments early as there will be limited availability! We look forward to serving you for many years to come!

We would like to sincerely apologize if you are one of the many that have driven in today to find us closed. Unfortunately sometimes things happen that are beyond our control. We will reopen Wednesday morning.

We want to get the word out that we are switching to summer hours next Monday 04/20. Celebrate if you must! Monday through Saturdays 8:00AM to 4:00PM. We may extend to 5:00PM some days. Just call and check prior to coming. And if you or someone you know likes math and wants a job, we are hiring! Seasonal for now, but could turn into year round for a motivated individual!

Time goes by too quickly! I can't believe it has been more than a month since we posted. How about this, NOW HIRING! We would love to talk with a good reliable person that we could train in a reasonable amount of time to be ready for our busy summer season. We are looking for someone that can count fast and sort at the same time. We definitely will offer the right person more than the big box for a less stress, family like atmosphere.
