Class A CDL Driver
1. Must have a minimum of 2 years verifiable experience. Yes, We may call your past employer and verify you actually worked there.
2. Please be insurable. No more than 1 moving violation on your current abstract. Applicant will be asked to supply an abstract prior to the test drive. (DUI‘s or Negligent Driving is an automatic disqualify.
3. If you hate driving but only do it for the money, you probably are not the type of applicant we are looking for.
4. If applicant is not willing to work weekends, long hours and do what it takes, don’t bother applying.
5. Cleaning your truck is mandatory. This includes the inside of the truck and a splash on the engine bay every so often. We pay drivers to wash. If you can’t be bothered to pressure wash and scrub your truck once a week, no need to apply.
6. Pre, Post & Midday truck inspections. I am not sure when these became optional but it appears this needs to be spelled out. Doing your inspections is required.
7. Paperwork is mandatory. This requires the applicant to be able to read & write legibly.
8. Be willing to travel to work. We work all up and down the I-5 corridor. We go where the work is and applicant will need that same mindset.
9. Have experience moving equipment. We often move equipment and appreciate flexibility.
10. We keep as busy as anybody can in our business year around. I am NOT promising applicant they will work every day all year. Work is almost always slow between Thanksgiving and the first week of the New Year. Prepare for it and enjoy the time off!
