This bat spent the night with a family that included a baby, fortunately, it was captured, many times people let the bat out. Unfortunately, the Bat had to be tested. The good news is it came back negative for rabies. Absent the bat, most people will end up going through the series in this situation. Never let a bat get away that may have had access to a person sleeping.

Got a phone call the other day to handle one of these. Not sure whether to go with a box trap or a conibear. Need some advice here. Thinking possibly the 6.5 Grendel ! Also, anyone know if there good eating and if so, baked, boiled or fried ? And I don’t wanna hear how good they are in an air fryer !

This is a house I did in April. She got a bat in just the other day. It happens to me religiously once or twice a season, thats not a bad average, I’ll take it. The important thing is if it happens your back there ASAP making it right. Thanks to thermal technology its easier than in the old days. See if you can see where the bat comes out !
