This Memorial Day, our team had the honor of joining the Marine Corps League and the Southern Tier Young Marines to commemorate those who gave the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation.
Watching the next generation stand at attention, disciplined, proud, and committed, was a powerful reminder of why strong communities matter. Programs like the Southern Tier Young Marines invest in young people by instilling values of leadership, service, and civic responsibility, the very foundation upon which thriving communities are built.
At CMD, we are proud to support and celebrate the organizations and individuals who strengthen the fabric of our region. CMD Group was proud to be in the Village of Albion this week, facilitating a strategic planning workshop with local business owners as part of the community’s comprehensive planning process.
Workshop participants engaged in a SWOT Analysis of the Albion community — surfacing strengths to build on, challenges to address, opportunities to pursue, and threats to navigate. The conversation was thoughtful, productive, and driven by people who know their community best.
Comprehensive planning works when the community is at the center of it. That’s exactly what Albion is doing — and it was an honor to help guide that process.
We look forward to continuing our work with the Village of Albion as they shape a clear, community-driven vision for the future.

Wrapped up a fantastic week in Cape Vincent! 🌊

In partnership with G&G, the CMD Group team spent the past several days meeting with local business owners and municipal officials to better understand the community’s economic development priorities and the challenges facing businesses along the St. Lawrence.
These on-the-ground conversations are the foundation of our work — helping communities like Cape Vincent identify opportunities, unlock resources, and build strategies that drive real, sustainable growth.
