We always get asked when should my child switch to a booster seat? It seems everyone’s in a rush! The right time is different for every child. Remember, each time you graduate your child to the next seat, there’s a reduction in the level of protection. Keep your child in each stage as long as possible!
Your child is ready for a booster seat when they have outgrown the weight or height limit of their forward-facing harness. Typically between 40 and 65 pounds. Read the forward-facing seat’s manual to be sure. Children can leave boosters when they're at least 4’9’’ and are typically around 8-12 years old. 👧🏼🧒🏻🚨
