We're back!! Our Community Policing Division will be adding bike patrols to their many opportunities to engage with residents, businesses, and visitors to our city. New bikes were purchased with funds donated by ROSS International, Inc of Clifton. ROSS approached CPD to offer a donation towards a cause that would benefit both the police department and the community. Chief Thomas Rinaldi matched a practical plan to the ROSS vision, suggesting to use the ROSS donation to revive CPD's bike patrols, which have been absent for several years. Bikes were purchased, our partners at the Passaic Police Department hosted our Community Policing Detectives for a week-long training course, and they are now ready to go!
