So you’re thinking about making a living trust. Great idea! It’s a wise choice for many people. Get your trust “Notarized” when you make it, when you revise it or revoke it. Making a trust requires thought and attention to detail, but it does not require a lawyer. If you decide you need a lawyer, there are many attorneys that specialize in trusts and estate planning.
DO YOU ALSO NEED A WILL? EVEN IF YOU CREATE A LIVING TRUST, YOU WILL ALMOST CERTAINLY NEED A SIMPLE BACK-UP WILL, ALSO.
A will is a legal document drafted and executed in accordance with state law. California law provides for a "fill-in-the-blanks" will form. The will form is designed for with relatively “small" estates. If there is anything you do not understand or you are making any provisions which are complicated or unusual, you should ask a qualified attorney to advise you.

A notary's main functions are to administer oaths and affirmations, take affidavits and statutory declarations, witness and authenticate the ex*****on of certain classes of documents, take acknowledgments of deeds and other conveyances, protest notes and bills of exchange, provide exemplifications and notarial copies, and perform certain other official acts depending on the jurisdiction. Any such act is known as a notarization.
