The Southern California Shredder Facilities hosted the 1st Shredder Forum on March 5th and 6th of 2024. This Forum represented SA Recycling’s 24 Shredder Operations. Day one of the Forum began at our Terminal Island Facility. At Terminal Island the first half of the day was focused on their Shredder, Maintenance, and Operations. The second half of the day was held at the Anaheim Facility and focused on the Shredder and MRP Operations.
Day two of the Forum began with presentations from all 24 of SA’s Shredder Managers. There were also presentations given by a few guest speakers including Scott Newell of Newell Engineering and Randy Brace of Riverside Engineering. SA’s speakers were Bruce Keizler and Tim Fette discussing MRP Claims, Jorge Simoes on Infeed Conveyor, Bobby Triesch on Rotors and Wear Parts, Mike Adams on Maintenance and PMS and lastly closing the Forum Tyler Adams and George Adams.
Overall, the 1st Forum to host all of SA’s Shredder Operations was a complete success! A sincere thank you to all the managers who participated and helped make this event a memorable one!
