PLATINUM WEDDING RING LOST ON NORTH TOPSAIL BEACH FOUND IN SECONDS
Tim told me he had spent a few hours at a North Topsail Beach access with his dog before packing up and heading home. It wasn’t until he got home that he realized his wedding ring was missing. I offered to drive the 75 miles to meet him right away and help find it. When we met, Tim had a clear memory of where he’d set up on the beach and mentioned his dog had dug a spot in the sand there. We both figured the ring had to be nearby. I asked him to choose the spot he thought it might be, and he was only off by about a foot. Passing through the area, I got a strong 63 signal on my XP Deus II metal detector—right in the platinum range. I told him, “Your ring is right there,” marking the spot with my coil. My pinpointer quickly confirmed it, and I pulled Tim’s wedding band from its sandy hiding place.

This year’s charity is Fishin' for a Cure and 10% of Tim’s reward will be donated to support individuals battling breast cancer.

LOST WEDDING BAND in the SAND is QUICKLY BACK ON HIS HAND
Emerald Isle, NC – Jesse called for help to find his lost wedding band. He had given it to his wife before going into the ocean, but it somehow disappeared into the sand. He told me he’d tried searching on his own without any luck. When I arrived, I asked to have a beach chair moved out of the way and began my search. After one pass, I was surprised not to find it. I turned to search another area when my coil picked up a metallic target just at the edge of my swing. As I bent down to investigate, I spotted something black barely sticking out of the sand—and in seconds, Jesse’s ring was back on his finger!

LOST UNDERWATER CELL PHONE FOUND WEEKS LATER WORKS!
Jacksonville, NC – While fishing by the New River, Alexander accidentally kicked his phone into the water and assumed it was gone for good. Weeks later, after having to put down his pet ferret, he realized all his photos of the animal were on that phone. He reached out to Crystal Coast Ring Finders, and I went to help. A friend warned me the area was known for alligators, but Alexander gave me a clear idea of where to search. Using a fishing magnet to test the semi-soft riverbed, I found the depth was manageable. After several passes through the murky water, I finally located Alexander’s phone—it was actually the second phone I found that day from the same location. Since he wasn’t home, I left it in a designated spot. Later that night, Alexander sent me a picture of it charging and working again. I was thrilled he could recover all his cherished photos.

Call For Help About a Lost Wedding Band in Morehead City, NC Waters Has a Happy Ending!

Ernesto contacted Crystal Coast Ring Finders after losing his wedding band while spending time with his family in the saltwater. The water was too murky to find it, and I was en route to another search, I received the standard information and then told him I’d call back later to get more details. Ernesto did a great job dropping a pin for the location of his lost white and yellow gold ring. When I arrived with my equipment, I started searching the marked area, and within 10 minutes—on my second target—I brought his beautiful ring back into the sunlight. Since Ernesto was working, we arranged to meet halfway between his workplace and my location. The USPS turned out to be the perfect spot to reunite him with his ring and capture the moment he had it back in his possession!

ATTEMPTED FOOTBALL CATCH RESULTS in LOST WEDDING RING FOUND by CRYSTAL COAST RING FINDERS
Michael was spending time with his wife along the Indian Beach, NC shoreline when, while trying to catch a football from her, his gold wedding band slipped right off. They tried searching for it with a cheap metal detector after the tide went down, but the saltwater caused too much interference. He then contacted Crystal Coast Ring Finders, and Justin stepped in for me due to my injury. After asking a few questions, Justin made an educated guess about where the ring might be. Sure enough, within minutes, he found it just four steps from the spot where he’d marked an X in the sand.

A Powerful Wave Results in a Lost Wedding Ring Set and was Found with Metal Detector
One evening, while I was out searching for another lost ring, Sierra messaged me to say a wave had knocked her over and caused her ring to slip off her finger. After two water searches that day, I’d injured my shoulder and couldn’t search for her ring myself. I reached out to a few trusted detectorist friends, and Justin said he might have time to look. I’d planned to search two days later despite my injury, but early that morning, as I was preparing my gear, Justin contacted me to say he’d already recovered the ring. He also mentioned signs in the sand suggesting another detectorist had searched the area before him. I met Justin to pick up the ring and headed to the Whaler Inn in Pine Knoll Shores, NC. Sierra was shocked it had already been found, and it was a pleasure meeting and working with them. Thanks again to Justin for the assist.

CRYSTAL COAST RING FINDERS LOCATE LOST NECKLACE PENDANT IN SOFT SAND
Pine Knoll Shores – Zack reached out about a special necklace pendant. His girlfriend Briana had been removing her necklace, which carried a pendant with both their initials, when one end of the chain slipped from her hand. The pendant came off while the chain was still swinging, and they had no idea where it landed. Zack searched for 20 minutes, and Briana was upset about the loss. He contacted Crystal Coast Ring Finders, and I headed there right away. I met Zack in the parking lot, and he led me to where Briana was guarding the spot. Within seconds, I got a solid signal, knelt down, and gently pulled the pendant from its hiding place in the sand.

(my photo of the pendant didn’t do it justice—it’s a beautiful gold)

Surf City – Wedding Band Lost While Floating in the Ocean Returned!!!
Devin and his wife were vacationing from West Virginia when Devin, relaxing and floating in the ocean, felt his wedding ring slip off his finger. While I was out of state, my friend Justin took on the challenge of finding it. After a tough day, a few waves to the head, and even getting bumped by a 20-year-old on a boogie board, he managed to recover Devin's ring from the Atlantic. Not every recovery is easy, and searching in the water is especially challenging.🎉
